The MLSW is the latest member of Martin’s MLS series of splicers, which includes models for inline adhesive-applied film lamination and foil stamping. The Martin MBS(F) butt splicer and LRD non-stop rewinder also on the booth in Chicago were demonstrating their versatile substrate capability, which ranges from PS label stock to lightweight films used for flexible packaging. The LRD showed how finished rolls can be unloaded automatically, without the need for any other equipment.
