Rotocontrol/EMT International – Merger of two manufacturers

GERMANY/USA • The company Rotocontrol announced to merge with EMT International. The manufacturer of label slitter/rewinder inspection and finishing machines and the US-American manufacturer of custom and standardised finishing equipment for narrow and wider-web digital and conventional print are merging in order to combine forces.

In the agreement with EMT International, the design and manufacturing of Rotocontrol finishing machines will continue at the German company’s headquarters in Linau near Hamburg, while shared production with EMT International is planned for early third quarter 2017.

EMT International is headquartered near Green Bay, WI, USA. The addition of EMT International sales & 24×7 service from its headquarters in Green Bay, WI will enhance Rotocontrol support in North America. Paul Rauscher, owner of EMT International, Scott Kettler, president of EMT International and Marco Aengenvoort, managing director of Rotocontrol will form the board of directors of Rotocontrol.
